29. What is Repentance?
Repentance is Godly sorrow for sins and literally means to turn around. It means that a repentant person realizes his actions are wrong and shows remorse, followed by a turn about in actions, attitudes and direction.
2 Corinthians 7:10
10. For godly sorrow worketh repentance to salvation not to be repwnted of: but the sorrow of the world worketh death.
Psalm 34:18
18. The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken; and saveh such as be a contrite spirit.
