97. Is it true that once a man is saved he cannot be lost, no matter what he does?
This doctrine of ‘eternal security’ is not supported by Scripture. Even though the believer becomes alive through Christ, he can die in sin if there is no effort to be holy.
Romans 8:13
13. For if ye live after the flesh, ye shall die: but if ye through the Spirit do mortify the deeds of the body, ye shall live.
